The "Festa da Flor" is a yearly Madeiran flower festival. EVery spring, the island gets decorated with wonderful arrays of flowers and hosts various parades of people wearing original flower costumes.
Every June, the portuguese celebrate the three saints, Saint Anthony, Saint John and Saint Peter, in different parts of the country. There is all-around good humour, parades, dancing, lots of sardines, beer and a whole lot of fun!
